 Summertime, and the living is easy...
 Who doesn't love Gershwin's lullaby from the Porgy and Bess
musical of 1935? Its lyrics and slow, soothing rhythm can't help but evoke
images of carefree summer days. Unfortunately, for the many people who feel
they're too
busy to take vacation, listening to summer-themed music is the only break
they'll get!
Solopreneurs are especially reluctant to get away from it
all, according to Scott Kendall, The
Technology Coach. Today's technology will allow you to manage your business
remotely by using a laptop computer, PDA or SmartPhone, but is that really a
vacation?
To really get away from it all, why not consider hiring a
virtual assistant? He or she can monitor your email and voicemail while you're
on vacation, respond to general inquiries, and schedule appointments for when
you return. If you're really worried about not being available to your clients,
you can give your VA a telephone number where you can be reached in case of a
genuine emergency. Now THAT's easy living!
