Want to be crafty, but don't think you can?

Do you ever feel like you really want to be crafty, but don't think you have a crafty bone in your body?  Boy, I feel that way every day. Especially when you see other people easily create beautiful works with little effort.

Do you want to be crafty, but aren't sure how to begin?

Start with figuring out what you love. Is it paper crafts, crochet or maybe some sort of sewing? What ever it is, find groups that you can join (MeetUp.com is a great place to find local groups).

Educate yourself. Start with magazines, the library or locals stores and check out if this is really the craft you want to dedicate time to.

Dedicate time. To be good at anything, you have to dedicate some time to it. If you are limited on your free time, start small, maybe once a month dedicate an evening to spending on your craft. Before you know it you will be a pro!

With most hobbies (or really anything) you have to work at it.
