Even if you're on the road or in the air three nights out of every week, packing your bags doesn't have to be an unpleasant experience…if you're organized. But how can anyone possibly keep up with all the last minute items that need to be packed?
Packing is easy when you make what is called a "permanent packing list" and keep ample supplies of the items on the list at all times.  A list is the only way to be sure you've packed everything you need.
To get started  there are BASICS that every traveler need such as toothbrush, toothpaste, and deodorant.  In the area of MEDICAL NEEDS, you'll want to take along any medication you may be presently on.  It might be a good idea to obtain a duplicate prescription.  Also, add vitamins to the list if you take them and any other sanitary or hygiene items you need.
If you're allergic to pollen, or whatever, be sure to include some allergy pills on your list.  It's also a good idea to keep aspirin or aspirin-free pain reliever as a permanent item.
Beyond the basic needs, there are "little extras" that you may want to include.  If you travel for more than a day or if you wash your hair every day you'll want to add items to your list such as shampoo, hair dryer, curling iron, and hairspray.
In case of an emergency, you should also take such items as an extra set of luggage keys for when you lock your luggage in the hotel room, a folding umbrella, and an extra pair of glasses or contacts.
By spending time now, I'm sure you'll find your "permanent packing list" to be an essential part of your travel plans, making traveling a more pleasant experience!
