Egg Decorating Made Easy!
I love magazines... have I mentioned that yet? I was reading in the April issue of Family Fun Magazine a super easy and fast way to decorate eggs that I have to share.
When you look at it, you are tempted to think that it wouldn't work... but oh boy does it ever! All you need the following items:
1.) a nylon
2.) a rubber band
3.) a cup
4.) egg dye (1/4 cup white vinegar, 3/4 cup hot water and food coloring)
4.) a small leaf
My biggest problem with dying eggs has always been a.) the mess and b.) it's not that fun for small kids. This is great because it only requires the user to DUNK the egg in a neatly organized and simple nylon. I did this project with my 3 and 5 year old boys who live for making a mess and they actually managed to keep it relatively tame sense of mess.
I would be willing to try this with various flower petals as well... if you happen to try it... please share how it turned out.
