Spring Fling Thing
Spring is officially here. There's no turning back now. For some of you in the country I know you have been jumping up and down in anxious arrival of birds singing, flowers blooming and children singing in the streets.
Some of us have trouble differentiating the seasons because just about everyday is perfect. Others across the country start marking off the dark days of winter looking for that ray of sunshine, somewhere. Whichever group you're in doesn't really matter. The important thing is to recognize the opportunity that spring brings.
It's time for a Spring Fling Thing!
What, you ask, is a Spring Fling Thing?
It can be whatever you want it to be. Look around your home and your life. What could use a real spring cleaning right about now? Is it your closet that needs some breathing room so you can locate those cool sandals you bought for summer? Is it your entry way to your house-the mouth of the home that might benefit from a real decluttering session and some fresh spring flowers?
Perhaps it's your planner/calendar that needs some pruning. Too much to do with too little time and minimum to no time for you? Take a good, hard look, get out those pruning shears (a good eraser, the Delete button on the computer, or some white out) and create some much-needed breathing space for, well, just breathing.
My Spring Fling Thing this week is the entryway. Whatever is not nailed down is up for a possible relocation program (recycling, repurposing, releasing). Spring has sprung (Yes, even in San Diego we feel the seasons change), the birds are bursting with song, and the mouth of my home is in need of its own tune-up.
That's my Spring Fling Thing – what is going to be yours? Write me at and let me know how flinging in the spring became your thing!
