Your Very Own Personal Assistant

In the corporate world, senior managers have an executive assistant to manage their calendar and help them stay on track of their to do list, and home-based business owners often hire a virtual assistant to do this for them. But what if you don't have an assistant and it's just not in the budget?

Meet Sandy the personal assistant who works for free!

When you "hire" Sandy, she gives you her email address and then, whenever you set up an appointment by email, you send her a copy, and she'll email you with a reminder! What's really cool is that it's not limited to appointments you can email Sandy any kind of reminder, including birthdays, tasks, errands, and even websites and blogs you want to keep track of. It would be a great way to keep track of sites that don't have an RSS feed, like this blog!

You can also:
  • enable a private iCalendar feed of your reminders, appointments, and to-dos, which allows you to subscribe from and synchronize with your existing calendar system
  • arrange to have reminders delivered to your cell phone
  • connect your Sandy account with your Twitter account

In addition, you don't need to send her flowers or buy her lunch during Administrative Professionals' Week!
