I enjoy playing around with Feng Shui and when I moved into my new townhome last month, I took the opportunity to clear the energy of the house before I unpacked. I had the entire house cleaned from top to bottom, including all the appliances and the carpets. Although I'd decluttered prior to the move, I let go of even more stuff that didn't seem to fit my new home.
- An orderly space with no clutter is the best foundation for feng shui to improve your life. TIP: Don't drag the clutter from the old space to the new one.
- The better connection you have with every item you own, the better and clearer your own energy levels. TIP: Let go of all the items you do not like or need.

The first room I organized was not the kitchen but the bedroom. The bedroom is the most important space in the house. TIP: Treat yourself well when you arrange the bedroom and everything else will fall into place.
I'm enjoying forging a connection with my home, shedding the garments of the former owner and choosing the colors and palette for a brand new outfit.
