Transition into Time!
How often do you find yourself saying... "I don't have enough time to ___."
For me, not only am I a mom of two boys, a business owner, a homemaker... I am a regular person. I have heard myself say this enough times that I realized I needed to do something about it.
Trying to juggle all the "stuff" is a never-ending, demanding, always growing task that creeps up on you when you least expect it. Just when you think you have it all under control... "BHAM"... something throws you off balance.
Here are three sure fire ways to transition into each day with enough time (or at least enough time) to get all the "stuff" done.
1. Plan extra time into each task if you think you might need it. So often we plan a task with never enough time. Be realistic in your time, if you think you need more, plan for it. Don't over book yourself... it just creates disasters.
2. Build in "ME" time into each day or week. Everyone needs down time from the day to day demands. If it's crafting, cooking or reading... it makes us happy people . Plan time for yourself to do the things you love. Believe me, you aren't being selfish... you are doing your entire household a favor by being a happy person (not a cranky pants ).
3. Use a Planner! I know this seems basic, but there are actually people out there that don't think they "need" a planner, they have it all up stairs... Not the case! Get a calendar, task list... whatever you need and write things down. It will save time and allow you to be a little more organized!
