On-the-go Organization
One of my favorite organizing tools is the Collapsible Crate. I keep one in the trunk of my car at all times as it comes in handy so often.
Many people will stack items by the back door so they'll remember to take them when it's time to run errands. I like to fill my crate as items surface, cutting down on back door clutter but also helping me to remember everything. Crate-friendly items might include: library materials needing to be returned, dry cleaning or store returns.
Putting items in the crate will prevent them from rolling around in the trunk, getting broken or dirty. The crate folds up and hardly takes any space when not in use.
If you Google the phrase "collapsible crate" you'll find lots of places to purchase from. Stacks and Stacks is a favorite site of mine. Try this link: http://www.stacksandstacks.com/html/80017_collapsible-crate--folding-file-container-with-optional-casters-and-file-rods.htm
