Quicken Has a Secret Solution for Your Business
If you have you own business, especially if you're starting out as a independent consultant, I'm sure you've thought about how am I going to track my income and bill my clients? The most popular solution on the market is QuickBooks; however, maybe you've been using Quicken for personal finances and the idea of learning another software package and plopping down another $100 to buy QuickBooks is not appealing.
The solution is Quicken for Home & Business. This version is not marketed as much as other versions of Quicken or QuickBooks, but it fills the need for many businesses. Quicken for Home & Business allows you one place for all your personal and business finances and then allows you to view and run reports on your business data separated or combined, whichever you prefer at that point in time. It also allows you to create client invoices and tag expenses appropriately for business tax purposes.
Other pluses:
-
Your Quicken data converts seamlessly to Quicken Home & Business
-
While Quicken Home and Business directly from Quicken is listed at $99, you will pay less because you are "upgrading" from your current version of Quicken. The upgrade cost will depend on the Quicken version you currently own
-
If you purchase directly from Quicken you will also get a free month of Quicken Bill Pay. If you ever wanted to explore online bill paying, here's your chance.
P.S. I promise I don't work for Quicken on the side!
