Blog: The Nature of Being Organized
From Clutter To Prosperity!

This summer has been a rainy one here in Maine, but it stopped long enough for me to commune with nature this week. I took a short a drive out to a nearby river to sit, contemplate, relax, read and take in the beauty of the waterfall and warm sun. The sound of the rushing waterfall worked its magic to clear out the clutter in my brain and reconnect me to Source.

My intention for this mini escape was two-fold; first, to reconnect with nature and let go of the busyness and second, to take advantage of another inspiring outside office. Yes, I brought work with me—creative work! For me, creative work flows more freely out in nature. I did some mind-mapping around developing a new workshop and teleclass. I also finished Edwene Gaines' book "The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity".

This book is a must read! It is compelling, inspiring, entertaining, practical and powerful. She highlights a two week exercise in the last chapter which encourages the reader to focus on self-care and integrity as a way to move toward prosperity. Each day she suggests a different exercise to strengthen self-love. Day #1—top of the list-- is: "Strive For Order"! Yes, clearing up our messes, clutter, and disorganized closets will increase self worth allowing prosperity to flow to us. She says "the mystics tell us that order is heaven's first law" (I love that!). She includes in the clutter clearing: balancing the checkbook, filing paperwork, completing unfinished projects that have been weighing on our mind and getting the car washed!

When we feel good about ourselves, when we are joyful, happy, light and free—free of our mental, emotional, and physical stuff—the Universe zooms in to fill the spaciousness with more good. If we want to live abundant, rich, full lives we must do the inner work to create the shift.

So set your intentions to clear out more stuff this week. Go ahead, fall in-love with yourself. Then wait and pay attention for the miracles to show up! Let me know what happens!

Happy Organizing!

Warmest Regards,
Maggie
