Organizing for the Holidays
The organizer in me likes to plan ahead for the holiday season. Like really ahead. Say August and September.
You might be chuckling but before you hit your delete key think about the things that stress you out in December, preventing you from enjoying your holidays. Usually you're stressed because you have too much to do.
I love being able to relax and enjoy December but if I'm trying to cram in lots of extra things there's no way I'm going to be at peace.
If you normally send greeting cards in December, this is the perfect time to plan that project. Some people get a professional photo of the family or kids. Schedule it now and mark that off your list. Some photography shops even offer discounts for early-birds.
If you decide to send a photo of your own or even make your own cards, then get those supplies purchased now and get your project started. It'll feel so good to have this project completed and crossed off your list.
