HOLD BACK THE SANDS OF TIME
Okay, so you can't hold back the sands of time, but you can learn a strategy to stretch those passing moments. It's best to resist discouragement – even with 1,440 minutes in a day; it often still feels like it's not enough.
When we get these feelings we can feel defeated or determined. Keep in mind that boredom usually results when tasks take less time than we have and when we idly wait, "killing time", our energy often wanes.
On the other hand, when we don't have quite enough time for all we want to do can cause us to be productive, energetic, and efficient. People who are physically and emotionally healthy thrive on the challenge of limited time for seemingly unlimited activities. The key is to keep from being panicky or overwhelmed. The next time a task demands more time than you have - take a deep breath and take control!
Begin by arranging your time so you have more time for the job, such as working a little later than normal or sacrifice another activity OR simply restructure the project by doing less, getting help, or by not doing it at all. Then, be thankful.
Overcome a negative attitude toward time by starting each day thanking the Lord for both time and tasks of the day and….
Be positive - think about all that you have accomplished at the end of each day not just what you have not.
Be realistic - it's true, you can't do everything you may want to do.
You can achieve much more than you sometimes think you can!
