EASY HOLIDAY SHOPPING
Are you someone who gets claustrophobic in a shopping mall….get's white knuckles fighting holiday traffic…back aches carrying bags and bags of presents? Don't despair! Instead, shop the easy way this year.
I don't mean to sound like a commercial (we have more than enough of those in our lives these days), but you don't have to leave your house to find unique and quality gifts for the special people in your life. Yes, you can shop early; or spend your summer making thoughtful gifts for each person on your list to avoid last minute crowds.
But Christmas is right around the corner now, and what if you're not one to shop before Thanksgiving, and homemade gifts just aren't your style? Well, you can shop in the comfort of your home or home office – by online shopping.
You can sit in your bathrobe and slippers with a cup of hot chocolate and browse through the online catalogs, looking for just the right gift. And, if you have to travel for your Christmas celebration then you can have the items shipped to that address avoiding having to pack them in the car or pay extra to bring them on the flight.
There are so many quality companies online now that offer reasonable products and a wide variety of products for all ages. Many companies will guarantee delivery by Christmas and many are offering free shipping to entice your purchases.
Items that you would have to fight crowds for in the stores are right online - Land's End, Eddie Bauer, Penney's, Kohl's, Sears – you name it! Also, companies that don't normally have storefronts offer a wonderful selection – Lillian Vernon, Discovery Toys, Pampered Chef, Avon, and a variety of other reputable companies. And, many local stores with online catalogs will offer deliver right to your door.
So, if crowds, traffic, and heavy shopping bags do not put you in the Holiday mood, take time to browse through online catalogs to do your Christmas shopping this year like millions of others. And, enjoy all the time you save doing the holiday things you really like to do!
