Have someone that is hard to buy a gift for?
We are in crunch time people... less than two weeks until Christmas. Have you finished your holiday shopping?
My family back in Chicago are so hard to buy for. It's just my mom, one sister and her family, but every year I stress out about what to get them. It's probably because we don't live close so it's hard to know what they enjoy.
Yesterday, I was able to get my box of goodies to the post office (woo-hoo! ).
Let me tell ya, every year, when I walk out of the post office door, I feel a sense of relief that it's off my plate. One of those agonizing tasks I face every holiday. It doesn't matter, I always stress out about getting it all done.
I think I did pretty good this year... So, today's post is all about great gift ideas for those difficult people in your life. Because I don't like clutter (imagine that), and I love to buy gifts that people can use up and get rid of, all my ideas are centered around that premise. Enjoy!
My mom is particularly hard to buy for so at some point every year, if it's her birthday, mothers day or Christmas, she gets photo postage stamps with the kids pictures on it. You can order them at at PhotoStamps.com, or you can now order them at Walgreens.
Starbucks is always a favorite of mine (**hint**). You can't really go wrong there, it's got something for everyone and most times people appreciate going somewhere that can be a special treat. Gift cards go a long way at Starbucks!
If you love to share photos with family, Kodak Gallery has some great gift ideas. Things like calendars, ties (my personal favorite for the business man in your life), mugs, even beer glasses can share those memorable moments.
For the sports fan, NBA or MLB has gift cards. I love to give this to my family who loves to go to games, but hates to buy tickets... cuts or covers the cost of the ticket and can be a real treat for that sports fan.
You still have time to get things order... but don't wait too long!!!
