Getting back to pen and paper...
One of the things I want to do this year is spend a little less time on email and write personal letters. Remember those?
As a "crafty" type, I always like to make my own cards. The problem is that it takes time to make a card, then write it. This is a problem. What to do?
Then came this great article in Family Circle - Decorate Your Own Stationary about ways to create your own stationary. What I loved about the article was it allows you to use PRACTICAL items such as:
- Pen cap lids
- Kitchen tools
- Eraser tips
- Corks
- Doilies
- Ravioli Cutters
- Bubble wrap
With a blank piece of paper some paints, inks and a few fun tools... you can have some beautifully designed stationary.
I can see spending an afternoon cranking out a package of fun and enjoyable note cards... just like that!
