Four Fun Valentine To-Dos...
Valentine's Day is tomorrow and up until I had my kids, I was never much of a "mushy gushy" type. It's fun to do cute little things for the boys, so I thought I would share a few things I like to do for our Valentine's Day...
1. Heart shaped foods... We start with heart shaped pancakes with chocolate chips... then move on to the heart shaped pb & j sandwiches... then throughout the day, we eat lots of "red" foods... strawberries, apples and drink fruit punch!
2. Silly Love Songs... I don't know about you, but I have always been a fan of Wings (please don't tell my sister) and this was one of my favorite childhood songs... Why not share a little silliness with a few fun love songs!
3. Homemade Valentines... I love those opportunities where we can break out the crafts and make something, so why not make a special valentine for those you love?
4. Play with all the "red" toys. This is a lot of fun for my kids... we try to find (and sort out) all the red toys. Red legos, red hot wheels, red action figures... it makes for a fun play day!
What do you do that's special for your Valentine's Day?
