Electronic Recycling – Applause!

I'm a Professional Organizer living in Arlington, VA (right outside of Washington DC), and I have to applaud Arlington County Environmental Services. Arlington has always been very forward thinking in their recycling program, but as of April 1, 2009, they out did themselves and probably every other city in the U.S…..They now provide curbside electronic recycling free-of-charge!

I specialize in office organizing, and almost every client I have has a piece electronic waste lying around. Why? My clients have heard that electronic waste is not good for the landfills, but they don't know what to do with it; therefore, this piece of unused equipment just sits in their office adding to the clutter.
