The Office Guide to Going Green
I was sent a link to the article The Office Guide to Going Green, and I want to pass it along. I like the article because I believe these are very realistic changes that offices can easily make.
Often clients won't begin an eco-plan because they get overwhelmed with all the variety of things they can do. This article provides simple, straight-forward ways of making your office green.
One idea is to establish recycling stations. Avery provides free downloadable templates for creating professional-looking signs that go on your recycling bins. Avery wants you to download them onto 8 1/2" x 11" adhesive pages, but you can print it out just fine using any normal printing paper. I've printed them out and use them to label boxes when I assist clients in sorting their office papers during organizing projects.
