10 ways to reuse a magazine

You may or may not know that I have a love for magazines. I read them, re-read them, blog about them and share the information I get from them. Current events, fun resources or products are the main reason I read so many.

I also love being able to re-use, re-cycle or re-design all kinds of stuff, so when I came across an article in Family Fun (no article link, just their website which is a great resource in itself), I had to talk about it...

Five ways to reuse a magazine was the title of the article with these great suggestions...

1. Create a collage with mismatched items
2. Make a self portrait masks
3. Build a playhouse collage
4. Design jewelry
5. Make flowers with a pencil or straw

It got me thinking about how I could re-use a magazine. As I surfed the net, the ideas came flooding in, here are a few suggestions:

1. Re-cycle it to someone else
2. Use for gift wrap or make a gift tag
3. Use for boot shaper (I love this one and I had to share where I got it)
4. Use the subscription cards as bookmarks, camping kindling etc., again have to share my source of great ideas
5. Save a stack for shipping a package. The pages rip out quite nice and it stores better than popcorn and newspaper.
