Last week I this blog focused on basic Collaborative Software, and during the week I updated the blog based on user comments…check it out…click here.

This week we are going more advanced…there is a sub-set of Collaborative Software available called Collaborative Project Management Tools (CPMT) that has more advanced functionality for management project and provides specific features such as project schedules with gantt charts. For more information about the differenences between the two types of collaborative software, check out this wiki.

This list is compiled of project management software solutions under $500. If the software is a monthly subscription basis, it was less than $500 in a 12-month period. Most of these solutions are Software as a Service (SaaS) where it is hosted via the web and users pay a monthly fee.

ProjectManager.com - SaaS $25 monthly
FastTrack - Not SaaS
Project InVision - SaaS
EasyProject.net - SaaS $191 quarterly
Same-page.com - SaaS $50 monthly
HotProject - SaaS $50 monthly

I'd love to get your feedback on these products if you have used them. Feel free to post your comments. My personal experience is check how the product prints your data before you subscribe, if printing is important to you.
