 Everybody's Getting Organized – Come Join Us
January is Get Organized (GO) Month, and I feel it in the air. Walk into any Container Store or IKEA store in January and you'll feel it too. I did yesterday. The Container Store has great deals on Elfa Shelving, and a deal I've never seen before….30% off of Elfa Installation Services. Most of their stores have free workshops on the weekends about shelving options. IKEA is also sponsoring free workshops hosted by Professional Organizers in their stores in January in a variety of departments, with a drawing for free Professional Organizer time. I was hosting one of their office workshops until my husband broke his ankle.
Not only are stores geared up to support Get Organized (GO) month, but so are people! I've been flooded with client requests since Christmas. It may be because the Washington, DC area has had a particular bad winter; there has been snow in my front yard for two weeks. People have spent a lot of time indoors evaluating areas for home office improvements. Also, these past two weeks have been slow at work for many, so I believe folks have had more time to notice their office space environment.
