Blog: The Nature of Being Organized
The Best Tip For Feeling Spacious Inside and Out

What do you want going forward in 2010 around being organized? What are you longing for? Why is it that you don't have it now? Total Spaciousness is about following your heart, holding onto your vision and creating a stronger connection with your Self.
As you move forward this year with Total Spaciousness the first thing to do is to get clear. One of the best ways to gain clarity around what you want is to bring some focus to what it is that you don't want. I know, it sounds negative and probably counterintuitive, but it works.

Choose one area that if you were to become more organized would change your life or at least bring big improvement. Take some time and write down everything in this area that you don't wantclear it outmental, physical and spiritual. Once you acknowledge the unspoken you increase your consciousness/awareness and can now move forward with identifying what you do want.

Here's an example:

Area to improvelaundry room

Don't Want-
Overflowing, never-ending piles
Being bored
Feeling frustrated
Feeling alone
Feeling trapped
Wasting all my free time
Feeling unappreciated
Too much stuff to manage
Constant chaos
Hating it

Do want
A routine/schedule that frees up my time
To be happy when I'm doing laundry
To be grateful for my washer and dryer
For everyone to do their own laundry
Only doing laundry five times a week
Feeling supported and appreciated

This example will get you started. Be open and honest about your feelings and what you really want and need. Hold onto your vision, don't let it go. There is power in visioning and when you get really clear that vision becomes even stronger and closer to reality. Trust yourself and your connection to Spirit.

To Your Total Spaciousness!
