 Prioritize using the cake mix method
Whenever I coach with a client who's in the paralysis of analysis mode concerning what priorities should take precedence and why – or what to do when you don't know what to do, I take them through the Cake Mix 3 Step Method of prioritization. The human brain can easily resonate to the number 3. That's why most cake mixes come with 3 simple directions – Heat – Mix – Bake. Anyone at any time can put focus and energy behind 3 things. And this works particularly well for us solopreneurs who need to maximize time and energy for results in our business.
When you really put your passion behind 3 things you get amazing results. You build momentum that allows you to achieve your goals faster than you ever could trying to juggle a multitude of tasks. I discovered this technique years ago from a success coach and it has been life changing for me. It's the ultimate in concentration of power.
Choose the 3 most important projects or priorities that really are important to you. Where do you need to invest the majority of your time and energy to advance or enhance your business? Getting these to the top of your priority pyramid will take you from chaos to confidence instantly. You'll be clear, calm, and focused because you'll know just what to do. You'll immediately create more space, time, and energy to attract more of what you want by actually doing less.
