Wall Pocket – What is It?
A wall pocket, also known as a wall sorter or wall rack, is the organizing tool used to keep important papers and folders in full view without taking up any desk space. It is recommended for "actionable" papers, such as bills to pay and hot projects. Most people tend to be out-of-sight, out-of-mind people. If they can't see the papers they need to be working on, they tend to forgot about them. You don't want all these papers cluttering your desktop, because you also need space to do the work. The solution is to store these papers in wall pockets.
Wall pockets can be made with wire mesh, plastic, stainless steel, rod iron, wood or fabric. You can buy them individually or as a set.
Check out The Container Store options.
Ballard Design continues to carry beautiful wall pockets made with unique materials.
Office Depot has a large selection in plastic.
