OFFICE PLIGHT
Perhaps you're reading this from your office at home or one away from home. Look around you. Maybe you need to take some time to reorganize!
Let's start with your files or should I say piles? Whether they're in a pile or a file take some time today to go through a group of them with weeding in mind. You may be amazed at what you find inside them. Some things may be out dated and need to be tossed and some things may pop out at you as if finding a lost treasure because you've been wondering where that information was hiding. Make sure to check each piece of paper in every file. Some papers may be regrouped into a file of their own so that retrieval becomes easier the next time.
Once the files are cleaned out you'll be ready to actually put them into a cabinet or box if they've been piling up around you. At this point if you don't really have time to get them properly organized you may want to hire a Professional Organizer to help you.
When this project is completed you'll feel less stressed and you'll be more productive because you'll be able to file and retrieve quickly. Whether you spend time and/or money to accomplish this it will be an investment in your future.
