File Cabinets for Your Home Office
Most people want wooden file cabinets for their home offices. The idea of putting a metal file cabinet in a home feels too industrious. Metal file cabinets can also bend or warp over time.
Crate & Barrel has an attractive selection of wooden file cabinets. These file cabinets can work in a variety of locations in your home:
Kitchen as part of your Home Information Center
Dining Room if you use your dining room table as your desk
Bedroom to store archive documents (e.g., old tax records)
Home Office for personal or business use
When purchasing a file cabinet, consider the following features:
Does it have full extension drawer slides to be able to reach the files in the back of the drawer?
Does it come with file rails or do you have to purchase them separately?
Does it come pre-assembled? If not, do you need to hire an Assembler?
Does it need to store legal size (8.5"x14") documents?
