Stain removal made easy
Mom's become experts in many areas as children grow. In the event you haven't been schooled on Stain Removal, here's a chance to at least gain knowledge of the basics:
1. Always have a bottle of Shout or equivelant on hand. Spray spots immediately after you've removed baby's clothing so the stain removal has a chance to work even before the article of clothing is washed.
2. To avoid stains settling into the piece of clothing, here are some quick guidelines for particular types of stains:
a. Spit-up: If possible, immediately wet spot with water and flush the stain. You can also use vinegar to dilute the stain. Spray the stain again with stain remover before washing. Some stains will require repeated washing to remove.
b. Blood: Blot the stain with cool water, spray and wash.
c. Medicine: Immediately flush with water and squirt with stain remover. Wash and repeat, if necessary.
