Blog: Clothing and Closet Organizing
Where do you put your "not-clean-not-dirty" clothes?
We all have those items we wear more than once, sweaters, dress pants, the comfy sweats we put on when we get home from work. The problem is: we don't want to put them away with our clean clothes once we've worn them, but they're not ready for the laundry just yet. So, these items get piled over chairs, the closet door, the bureau…wherever there is room.
Designate a drawer, or bin, and/or a bit of hanging space in your closet for your "not-clean-not-dirty" clothes. At the end of each day, put everything back where it belongs. If you have a place for it, it will be less likely that it ends up, well, everywhere.
