When in Doubt Look Vertical

In setting up a space to work weather it be for someones bed room, home office or craft space there is always a need for storage. If it's not cloths it might be media or in my case craft supplies.Things like small trinkets and tools to large paper rolls, fabric or maybe boxes of supplies need to a home that is practical.

Usually when I walk into a clients space, I often see things stacked on the floor or on a work surface. What I encourage my clients to do is look vertical. There is (almost always) tons of space hidden on the wall that most people dont' think about. High or low you can create the usage of vertical space in so many ways. Here are my top five solutions to going vertical:

1. Shelving - Stores most everything from storage boxes to showcase items.
   
2. Bookcases/Cabinetry - Looks beautiful and can conceal items if needed
   
3. Hanging Shoe Bags - Awesome storage for all the small items and can be used on the back of a door or cabinet.
   
4. Storage (Peg Board) Systems - Specialized storage for particular spaces (craft or garage).
   
5. Hooks/Specialty - Hanging things can sometimes make all the difference.
