Saving Money & Sanity on Black Friday
There is no doubt about it, holdiay season is here! So matter what holiday's you and your family will celebrate this holiday season I'm sure that it likely requires a bit of retail spending. A retailer's dream known as Black Friday falls on November 23. Of course I had to do a little research on the history of this unofficial holiday.
Our friends at Wikipedia let us know that the reference to "Black Friday" can be traced back as far at 1975 in newspaper articles speaking about consuming spending. The term was likely a comparison to the other stressed and crazy days experiences on the stock and trading markets in years past.
I can't help but notice this year's feeling excitement and energy even with the consumer doubt and mortage market crisis. The deals and specials are sure intended to create the spirit and lighten consumer wallets. Thanks to the power of the Internet you can now learn about the "doorbuster" deals to be lurking for those earlier risers on Friday morning.
