Projects of Inspiration
Thinking about planning some projects for the holidays? So often between the tree decorating, cookie baking and holiday shopping there isn't much time to create. I have often found that if I don't have a record of my ideas... they are lost forever!
The sad thing is that a lot of my "crafting" has been boxed up and ready for our impending move. I have been really craving a good afternoon of crafting for the holidays... but no time or energy to pull everything out of boxes just to box it all up again when I am done.
If you like magazines (which I do) you will get lots of inspiration for things to create, craft, bake or build. The nice thing with magazines is that the idea can most likely be retrieved online, therefore can be bookmarked. But just in case here are a few ways you can keep track of fun projects! I have been "clipping" like crazy!
- If it's something you saw in a magazine, clip it and file it in an inspiration binder (you can even make a cute little book to keep these items in).
- Create a jar of inspiration that you can just pull out something when you need to get inspired.
- Use a collage board over your work area and pin up different things that give you ideas. If it's a color or pattern or (if you are like me) a texture.
Sometimes we just need inspiration!
