Contingency Plan
The winter cold and cough season has hit my home with full force.
There are two sick babies who just want their mom, and I feel like pulling the covers over my head and sleeping for days. Unfortunately, I also have a business to run. Residential organizers have a built in "downtime" during the holidays. For business organizers, this can be one of the busiest months of the year.
This brings to mind one of the most critical organizing tools for business owners – a contingency plan. Would your business be able to function if you were out for a few days, a week, even a month?
As we head into the New Year, I am adding one more goal to my list. I'll be developing a plan to ensure realign is not thrown into a state of chaos when I am out. Won't you join me?

What I'm Reading . . .
- "Raising Financially Fit Kids", Joline Godfrey
Common sense ideas and insight into raising kids who are wll-prepared to manage their own finances as young adults.
- "The Success Principles: How To Get From Where You Are to Where You Want To Be" by Jack Canfield
This book really got me excited about pursuing my goals and growing my business. There is a heavier emphasis on materialism than what I am comfortable with, but overall this is an inspiring book.
- "The Organized Executive", by Stephanie Winston
- "No B.S. Time Management for Enterpreneurs" by Dan Kennedy
