10 Ways to Reuse Paper Grocery Bags.

I was preparing some gifts the other day and needed some filler material for gift baskets.  After some consideration, I decided to make the basket filler out of extra paper grocery bags I had.  I simply put them through my shredder and voila!  It was fast, easy and appealed to my recycle-reduce-reuse sensibilities.  So, I started thinking, what else could these bags be used for?  Here's what I came up with:

1. shred them for gift wrapping or gift basket filler (one small basket = 2-3 shredded bags)
2. paper recycling receptacle
3. mind mapping
4. mail package wrapping
5. wallpapering your home office (don't laugh, I've seen this before)
6. gift tags (click here to learn how)
7. weed blocker under landscaping mulch (newspaper printed with soy ink works well too)
8. put them in your car and reuse when you go to the store.
9. recycle them to be used to make other things.  
10. scrap paper

Store your used paper grocery bags together within one bag and you're ready to go.  Why throw away what you can reuse?
