Things to clean in under 60 seconds

Do you feel like cleaning is a vicious cycle? Try '60 Second Cleaning'!
We have all heard the saying; if it takes less than 2 minutes to organize or clean-do it now!
The first thought that comes into our minds is, "What the heck can I get done in a lousy 2 minutes!" I have lists for that time amount too, but how would you like to get something clean in less time than that?
Say in 'Under 60 seconds'!
There are so many things that we can do, but we never really think about it, so we don't have a list to follow to give us ideas. If we use time to our benefit; it just means that we will have more time to do the things that we really enjoy doing.
Just think about it, wouldn't it be nice to be able to, 'not have to clean' and have your home smell fresh, look clean and tidy and not feel guilty for putting something off that you know you should be doing?
Wouldn't it be nice to go to get your nails done, have a perm, go golfing, fishing, shopping or to a baseball game and not feel guilty?
By using your time wisely, you can do just that, after all, it only takes a few seconds!
Under 60 Seconds'Tidy'
  • Empty the waste baskets
  • Water the flowers and plants
  • Clean the bathroom mirror
  • Sweep the floor
  • Change the vacuum cleaner bag
  • Throw a load of laundry in the dryer
  • Wipe off the kitchen stove
  • Clean the TV screen
  • Wipe the keys on the piano or organ
  • Clean the telephone
  • Wash the faucets
  • Change a battery in a clock, remote control or game.
  • Hang up a jacket
  • Add appointments to a calendar
  • Throw newspapers in the garbage
  • Wipe off the microwave
  • Clean the outside of the refrigerator
  • Wipe the bathroom countertop
  • Wash a window
  • Spray room freshener
  • Change the baking soda in the refrigerator
  • Deodorize the sink drains with baking soda
  • Clean out the dryer lint filter
  • Fill the humidifier with water
  • Dust a ceiling fan
  • Dust mop a floor
  • Clean the garbage out of your car
  • Change the deodorizer in your car
  • Order new medications
  • Straighten a cupboard
  • Rehang the towels in the bathroom
  • Hang up clothes
  • Open a window- for a fresh breeze
  • Make a list of 'things to do today'
  • Check your appointments
  • Call and make or cancel appointments
  • Swiffer dust a table
  • Tidy up a bookshelf
  • Straighten up a Coat closet
  • Throw a load of wash in the washer
  • Wipe the tops of the washer and dryer
  • Wipe off the toilet
As you can tell, the list can go on and on. We don't really think of these things because most of them we combine with other chores that will, of course, make our cleaning take longer. However, if you are looking for small projects to do, throw one of these in and make your day easier. You will soon have all of the time that you need to keep your hoe clean and still have time for the 'fun' things in life.

Jan's Website:

Fun Things To Do

  • Fishing Lake Michigan
Whether it is by boat or off the pier, there is nothing like getting that first Coho or King.
  • Grandchildren are fun
Making memories for your grandchildren of all of the fun times they had with grandma and grandpa is one of the best memories you will make for yourself too.
  • Camping
A tent, a firepit and sitting in the woods is a campers dream. We spend a lot of time camping in Northern Wisconsin and I have tons of camping recipes to share.

TV Shows

  • American Idol
I am hooked on this show, nothing interrupts me when this is on. By the time they get to Hollywood, I already have the top ten picked out.
  • Last Comic Standing
I love to see how these people, take the judges advice and change their tactics to become great comics, instead of just a comic.
  • House
Now really, isn't he the kind of doctor you want on your side? He always has a reason for his actions, he looks until he finds the cure and he has flaws just like the rest of us.
  • Any home make over show
I get some of my best ideas off of these shows and I also find things that I wouldn't dream of doing to someone elses home. I will admit, there are times that I wish they would call me and ask for my help!
