USING THE MICRODESK
Assemble your Microdesk following instructions in the box -- clipping sides on to the platform top, then the feet to the sides with a firm click into position. Put front lip in place. Position the Microdesk over the number line of the keyboard.
Adjust the height to suit either a flat surface or a keyboard tray. When writing on the Microdesk, keep elbows within range of your body, no reaching out. Write with a bent elbow not a straight arm. You can access the function and number keys of the keyboard beneath the front edge of the Microdesk. When writing using the Microdesk, your forearm rests comfortably on the platform top.
Keep your chair close to the desk and your mouse close to the keyboard. Your back and feet should be well supported, and your shoulders and neck relaxed for work.
The Microdesk suits left and right-handed writers. Place your documents on the Microdesk. There is a removable lip to stop papers sliding - do not lean your wrist on the lip while writing, keep to the right side (or left). The ruler / line guide is included with all desk models.
