TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES FOR NEW ORGANIZERS

Starting your own organizing business is challenging when there is no formal training available. Why become an organizer? What does an organizer do? Nancy discusses making integrity the cornerstone of your success -- addressing the ethics of the client's financial and/or proprietary information, the organizer's honorable billable time, and acknowledging when a client's needs are beyond your skills. Lanna continues the session, discussing what it takes to develop and sustain a successful and prosperous business, including basic logistics, creating your own unique identity, and discovering the infinite possibilities that emerge from a multifaceted vocation.
