Presented at the 2005 National Association Of Professional Organizers conference, this 90-minute workshop examines methods for helping people let go of their more emotionally-charged clutter. It is available as either an "instant download" audio recording (in MP3 format which can be played on any computer or MP3 player) or as a CD.
We all know when we help people get their life organized, they are likely to need to get rid of a lot of stuff. That first layer of outgrown clothes, broken plates, and unread magazines may be easy to get rid of, but the remaining layers often have their tentacles wrapped around the client's emotions. This workshop will show you how to disengage from the emotional side of "stuff" to work toward clearing out the clutter.
Aricia LaFrance is a psychotherapist, life coach, and personal organizer. She not only teaches clients the basics of organizing, but specializes in customizing an organizing plan based on individual personality type.
This is a "NAPO Top 30 Workshop" -- not to be missed! If you are interested in more NAPO workshops, check out the full listing -- and look for our "complete conference recording" sets (save at least 10% when you buy the full year's set of recordings, where available).
